Charge the Battery of your Kindle when it gets stuck or frozen on the start screen

Restart your Kindle device

If after charging also your Kindle device does not work, then try restarting it. For this, you need to turn your device off completely and then turn it back on again. If not then go for the hard reset option. For a soft reset, you need to slide the power switch and then release it. The LED switch will go off. Then slide the switch again and it will restart. For a hard reset, you need to slide the power switch on your Kindle and hold it for about 20 seconds. Then release the slider and your Kindle will restart. Then check it is working normally or not. If it still doesn’t work then choose the “Reset to Factory Defaults” option from “settings”. This will erase all the content, but you can restore it from your Amazon account.
